Soviet SUBMARINE TELEPHONE, Cold-War era
This is an original SUBMARINE TELEPHONE probably from the 1980s. It appears that it wasn’t used. There are a few paint chips but is in excellent condition. There are 2 receivers, a hand set and a mouth piece. The hand set is secured with a lever system. The “T” in the upper left corner glows in the dark and the hand crank on the right (a small generator) activates a little light.I am quite sure the phone would take incoming calls if the new owner knows the workings of phone. I bought the phone around 10 years ago from an military surplus store based in the Ukraine. The phone is mounted on a board for display so it can be mounted in your office making it convenient to order up a torpedo:-). Phone itself measures 37cm high x 15cm wide plus another 7cm for the mouth piece which sticks out.
