Lifeboat, orig 1944 Australian daybill, HITCHCOCK
Stars Tallulah Bankhead! Original Australian daybill VF on linen. Before the poster was linenbacked it had several tears in the ratings area (red circle) with little to no paper loss. There were also some stains along the top. I have an image taken of the poster prior to linenbacking that I will include with the poster. The Australian version of Lifeboat is not only ULTRA rare it is also has very unique artwork. There are only 5 known daybills! Until a few months it was thought that there was only one known copy!! 4 were found under lino in a house next to a cinema in New South Wales.
