Jean d’Ylen (Jean-Paul Beguin) was born in 1886 (Paris). He realized his first poster during the year of 1912 and worked for the 1931 and 1937 world’s fair. He died in 1938 and created 250 posters, particularly for Shell, Waterman, Gangloff and Martell. The printer is « affiches Gaillard – Paris », known for his great printing quality.
Very good condition. Not linenbacked.
